From creamy ranch to tangy BBQ, folks around here take their sauces seriously. Here’s a roundup of the crowd favorites and some unexpected flavor bombs that had us nodding in agreement — or scratching our heads!

If it sets your mouth on fire, this crew is all in:

  • Brandy Sullivan brought the heat with Bull Hot Sauce.

🐝 Sweet & Tangy Lovers

  • Andrea Letson Dean, Sylvia Thompson, Maddie Arnold, and Pam Landers are all about that golden dip.

  • Mitzi Trussell switched it up with sweet and sour sauce.

🤍 White Sauce Reigns Supreme
No surprise here — white sauce is a Southern staple:

  • Andy Bradford and Spencer Tarrence love good ol’ barbecue sauce.

  • Kyndal Estes and a few others chimed in with mustard.

  • Judy England Louallen also threw in Chick-fil-A sauce and Hellmann’s mayo — a triple threat.

🧀 Cheese Please
Several folks love to drown their food in cheesy goodness:

  • Pamela Haynes said jalapeño cheese sauce.

  • David Meherg and PhillipLisa Lawrimore are die-hard Cardinal Cheese Sauce fans.

🍣 The Unexpected Champs

  • Twila Hood and Isaac Gonzalez gave a nod to soy sauce.

  • Robert Isbell’s pick? Simply Yum Yum.

  • Stephen Brewer brought some local flair with Awesome Sauce from Captain Dave’s.

  • Amber Brownlow had us curious with her mix: Comeback sauce and Guthrie’s.

And then there’s Terri R Alexander, who had the most controversial take of the day:

“Sorry, but if you need sauce the meat is not cooked correctly.” 😅

Looks like when it comes to sauce, Lawrence County doesn’t hold back — whether it's hot, sweet, creamy, cheesy, or homemade. We might be split on our favorites, but we can all agree: the right sauce just hits different.
